WinnebaGoLife readers can expect a steady dose of inspirational adventure throughout the next 18 months as bloggers Peter and Kathy Holcombe ,along with their daughter Abby, embark on a 40-stop tour to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the U.S. National Park Service.

Traveling full time in a Winnebago motorhome, the Holcombes will visit some of the most picturesque locations in the United States and document their adventure for WinnebaGoLife, the No.1 lifestyle blog for RVers, according to a press release from Winnebago Industries Inc, based in Forest City, Iowa.

“They’re a truly amazing family,” said WinnebaGoLife Editor Don Cohen. “Not only are the Holcombes incredibly adventurous, but their storytelling skills through photos, video and writing really set them apart. Every month when I upload their latest posts I just shake my head and say, ‘Wow.’ I know our GoLife readers feel the same way.”

The Holcombes possess skills that help bring adventure to life in their blog posts. Peter is a commercial photographer, specializing in creating emotion-filled images, Kathy is a writer focusing on auto-biographical narratives and Abby is an adventurous 11-year-old who is credited as being the inspiration for the journey.

“Life is too short to not live out your dreams, and our Winnebago takes us to the places of our dreams,” said Kathy Holcombe. “We hope to inspire others to chase their dreams wherever that may lead. Get outside, spend time together as a family, go on your own adventures.”

Named the Famagogo: Family Adventure Tour, the journey is dedicated to inspiring families around the world to get outside and explore. During the tour, the Holcombes will be kayaking, rock climbing, canyoneering, biking, hiking and more in America’s national parks, monuments and public lands.

Planned stops along the way include backpacking in Smoky Mountain National Park during peak fall colors, kayaking in Everglades National Park and climbing Mount Rainier in Washington.
