Woodall Publication Corp. and the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) have joined forces to conduct a national survey of RV park and campground trends.
Woodall’s, a unit of Affinity Group Inc., parent of RV Business and RVBUSINESS.COM, and ARVC will provide details about their plans for the survey today (Nov. 13) at INSITES, the national meeting in Las Vegas for the RV park, campground and outdoor hospitality industries.
The Woodall’s/ARVC survey will be conducted by Michigan State University. It will involve collecting weekly occupancy numbers and spending patterns from participating RV parks and campgrounds and it will provide the industry, its suppliers and consumers with a better understanding of the overall economic impact on the local community.
The occupancy and trend reports will be made available to the national media on a regular basis.
“This is a perfect addition to the other ARVC and industry programs we support and is in keeping with our commitment to lead the industry in its growth and development,” said Joe Daquino, vice president of AGI’s Multimedia Division and Woodall’s publisher.
Woodall’s also supports ARVC’s Industry Promotions Program, Business Forum and National Education Foundation.
