Woodall Publications Corp. plans to launch a new business-to-business website this summer that will help vendors in the campground and RV sectors share ideas and do business with one another.
The website, located at www.woodalls.biz, will include extensive product and vendor listings as well as online forums.
“It’s going to be a great way for campgrounds, dealers, vendors and distributors to connect with one another by sharing their success stories, asking questions of their peers and soliciting ideas,” said Genevieve Branco, Woodall’s online marketing and consumer products manager.
Woodalls.biz will feature links to the businesses listed on its pages, Branco said, along with home page news articles from Woodall’s Campground Management.
Woodall’s monthly eMarketing Newsletter, providing helpful marketing tips to campground owners and other RV industry professionals seeking to strengthen their business base, also will be available to visitors.
Woodalls.biz will be supported by advertising revenue, and vendors will have opportunities to place ads online or in the Woodall’s publications of their choosing, including the national and regional campground directories, buyers guide, Woodall’s regional newspapers and Woodall’s Campground Management.
“The new website will make it easier to advertise with us,” said Branco, adding that Woodall’s customers will still be able to place ads through their existing contacts. “The new website merely supplements our existing advertising channels. But we are working to create bundled advertising opportunities.”
Branco said Woodalls.biz should be online by late summer. She added that Woodall’s has already received strong support for its business-to-business website concept from prominent campground industry leaders, including the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC).
Woodall’s already operates a consumer-oriented website at www.woodalls.com. That website includes a free searchable database of 14,000 public and private RV parks and campgrounds as well as published articles contained in the national and regional Woodall’s campground directories. Woodalls.com is extensively used by consumers and regularly logs about 500,000 user sessions per month, Branco said.
