Alberta-based Woody’s RV World announced that the dealership has acquired Lardner’s Trailer Sales, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

According to a press release, Woody’s RV has remained in a growth phase, adding three new locations to its network since 2016. All expansion efforts are carefully considered, whether building a new location, or acquiring an existing dealership, the release stated.

“Woody’s RV World is excited to find an existing dealer that matches our commitment to customer service and our dedication to develop employees,” said Woody’s RV President Darren Paylor.

Lardner’s Trailer Sales is one of the longest serving, family-operated RV dealerships in Saskatoon that was passed down in the ’90s from one generation to the next and is now headed by Kelly Lardner. According to the release, Lardner carefully selected the company that would let take over the operation.

“What’s exciting about this opportunity is that Woody’s has the same philosophy about customer care as Lardner’s Trailer Sales,” he said.

With the addition of the Lardner’s dealership, Woody’s RV World now has seven locations in three provinces. The full-service dealership now has locations throughout Western Canada with Alberta locations in Calgary, Red Deer, Leduc, Edmonton and Grande Prairie.
