The Fountains Premier Motorcoach Resort announced that construction is officially underway at the 59-acre estate that will soon be transformed into a world class resort. The project in St. Augustine, Fla., will total more than $100 million when all phases are finished, according to a press release. Demolition was completed over the summer, and the first phase of the project is on time to be delivered in late spring of 2015.
“The Fountains will offer guests a unique vacation opportunity that is not offered anywhere else,” stated Curt Geisler, CEO of The Fountains of St. Augustine LLC . “It has been a long road and the construction moving forward is a clear indication that this dream will soon be a reality. We are ecstatic to open the doors to our resort and share it.”
Guests will enjoy their own casita or villa on the property that has additional options including professional grade stainless steel appliances, fireplace, wainscoting, exterior pergola and luxury outdoor kitchens.
The Fountains will provide outdoor attractions, fine dining, upscale shopping and world-class entertaining. Other amenities on-site will include an infinity pool, Jacuzzi, guest center, fitness center and clubhouse. The pool and clubhouse will oversee the four-acre lake that can be used for paddle boating, as well as catch and release fishing.
In addition, the location is in the nation’s oldest permanently settled city and provides guests with plenty of rich history to explore. The location is perfect for day excursions to several different pristine beaches, world class golf courses, shopping and a full range of other attractive activities.
