Owners of Class A motor homes built on Workhorse chassis are forming a club and they have scheduled an organizational rally for Nov. 4-7 at the Guadalupe River RV Resort in Kerrville, Texas.
The first rally will include full hookups with cable TV, happy hours and three catered breakfasts and dinners. The agenda includes evening entertainment, organizational meetings and the election of club officers.
Workhorse Custom Chassis officials will conduct seminars about the chassis. There will also be a seminar by women for women about common concerns involved in motorhome travel.
Workhorse will provide door prizes and sponsor the happy hours.
Norman and Eleanor Biggs are the rallymasters. They may be contacted to register or for more information at 3716 Indian Creek Trail, Granbury, Texas, 76049. Phone: 817-326-3525; e-mail: [email protected]
The deadline for rally registration is Oct. 15.
The club is being organized as a Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) chapter, so participants either must be FMCA members or they must become FMCA members to attend. FMCA membership information may be obtained by calling 800-543-3622.
“There are quite a few Workhorse owners with a lot in common under the hood,” said Biggs. “We think this club will provide some excellent camaraderie as well as the opportunity to learn more from each other and from Workhorse about what we’re driving.”
