Power Queen’s new 12V 150Ah Group 27 battery measures 12.13 × 6.69 × 8.31 inches, delivering 150Ah of capacity and 1,920Wh of energy within the installation footprint of a standard Group 27 battery. Compared with a 12V 100Ah Group 27 LiFePO₄ battery, it provides 50% more rated capacity.
For RV owners, this means additional energy capacity can be added without installing a second battery or redesigning the existing battery location. The increased capacity provides greater operating reserve for refrigerators, lighting, water pumps, computers and communication equipment, while giving users greater flexibility in managing power between charging opportunities. For dealers and installation service providers, the standardized Group 27 dimensions can also simplify product selection and discussions around battery upgrades.
However, physical compatibility does not necessarily mean the battery can be replaced without further electrical checks. Before an upgrade, users and installers should verify battery-compartment clearance, terminal orientation and mounting requirements, as well as confirm that the existing charger, cabling and fusing are compatible with the specifications of the LiFePO₄ battery.

Bluetooth Monitoring Adds Visibility to Off-Grid Power Use
As more devices are added to RVs, users not only need more energy capacity but also an easier way to understand how much power remains and how much load the system is carrying. The Power Queen 12V 150Ah Group 27 battery features Bluetooth 5.0, providing improved wireless connection range and data transmission stability. Within the effective connection range, users can check state of charge (SOC), voltage, current, power, temperature, and charging or discharging status on a smartphone from inside the RV, the driver’s cab, or the campsite, without having to access or open the battery compartment.
Compared with estimating remaining power based only on voltage readings or personal experience, real-time data can help users understand overall power consumption when multiple devices are running at the same time. When appliances such as a refrigerator and computer bring the total load close to the battery’s output limit, users can switch off or stagger the use of non-essential devices, reducing the risk of the BMS triggering overload protection, stopping battery output, and unexpectedly cutting power to essential equipment. When solar charging, alternator charging, or shore power is connected, users can also check charging status and input data to confirm that the battery is charging normally. For new RV owners who are less familiar with battery systems, this kind of visual power management reduces guesswork about remaining capacity and makes day-to-day operation easier.
Bluetooth monitoring allows users to clearly see battery capacity and load status, while the built-in 150A BMS is responsible for active safety protection. The system provides more than 20 protection functions covering conditions such as overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, short circuit, and abnormal temperatures. Low-temperature charging protection stops charging when the battery detects temperatures below 32°F and resumes operation when the temperature rises to approximately 41°F, helping reduce the impact of low-temperature charging on the cells.
